The Watauga Valley Railroad Historical Society Museum (WATV) is a nonprofit, historical, and Educational Organization incorporated in the State of Tennessee with IRS 501 c (3) status.

We preserve the experience of rail travel through restoration of vintage passenger and freight equipment, operating the Chuckey Depot Museum in Jonesborough TN, and sponsoring train excursions for our members and the public.

WATV has monthly meetings along with 12 issues of the organization's newsletter the "Whistle Stop".
